Start immediately at one of the leading not for profit organisations in the country, acting as the right hand to the CEO and managing their extremely busy diary. They are constantly in meetings with a wide range of people, including high profile ministers, trustees or senior stakeholders, as well as the internal members of their team.
The CEO has an open door policy and your role is to ensure this remains open, whilst using your tact and diplomacy to enable the them to get on with their very full itinerary. Excellent communication and IT skills are a must. You will provide proactive and strategic administrative support with an empathetic approach, have experience of dealing with trustees in a not for profit/charity environment and be someone who relishes getting involved in all aspects of what they do.
You would also help out with two other directors on a purely administrative basis as well a some office management.
This is not an ivory tower role, your ability to think about how to involve all those within the organisation around the country is extremely important to the CEO.
